Brighton is about 45 minutes by car from the M25 via the M23/A23 with dual carriageway all the way to the city. Once in the city and from the main seafront roundabout at Brighton Pier, turn westwards along the coast road (with the sea on your left) and Lansdowne Place is off to the right about a mile along.

all-day all-bus ticket is available for £3.50 per day. This covers
the whole of the city including the Marina and is valid for trips to Devils
Dyke, Eastbourne and the Seven Sisters National Park
(which includes Beachy Head).
The nearest cross-Channel
routes are ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe (France) – Newhaven is only 20
minutes by train from centre, and Dover & Folkestone

Easily accessible from centre or Hove stations a taxi fare from either station is about £5.00
